Composition methodologies for ensembles with jazz players and electronics

The Symbiosis of Improvisation and Live Electronics

The aim of this research is to investigate the necessary reconceptualization in the compositional process itself for jazz instrumentalists, seeking to identify and analyze the existing adaptations to different paradigms of musical communication and sound "palettes" that may prove to be of academic value. The research aims to explore how these adaptations influence compositional practice, considering the integration of approaches and techniques that enrich the dialogue between composer and performer within the context of contemporary music

The following six methodologies represent distinct strategies for engaging jazz instrumentalists in new music contexts, ranging from live electronics to hybrid ensembles. Each approach is explored through practical experimentation, collaboration, and performance.
